Prosthodontics is one of the most challenging types of dental treatment.

Success depends highly in presicion of the dental and laboratory work. Precision and good quality on the other hand, need time.

This is why your available time, can be a significant factor for the treatment of your choice.

Following,are a list of procedures available in our prosthodontic practice for International Patients. Choose the type you wish to have and let us know of your specific needs.

Smile make over

Smile make-over, changes your smile and your face. It can be achieved using several techniques, with veneers being one of the most common. Veneers can change your life, by giving you the smile you've always wanted.

There are two types of veneers that you can have in our clinic, composite and porcelain veneers.

Composite veneers, can be fabricated easily chair side. This is why you can have them made quickly and in one appointment.

Porcelain veneers, on the other hand are made out of porcelain and they need lab work. This is why they take longer to be made. We usually need 3 appointments for porcelain veneers.

In the first one, we take the initial impressions to make the diagnostic wax up.

In a second appointment we prepare your teeth, take the final impressions and provide you with a provisional restoration – your test smile.

The lab will need 5-10 working days to fabricate your veneers, depending on their number.  

During that time, you can easily travel around Greece enjoying everything the country offers.

Coming back to Athens, we can deliver your veneers and you are ready to fly back home, enjoying your new smile.

Implants restoration

If you had dental implants placed in your country, come to us for the final prosthesis.

We are able to restore every brand of implant, with any type of fixed or removable prosthesis.

Provide us with the specifics of your implants (brand, diameter and length) before your trip and we can start by taking impressions from the very first appointment.

In the end of your treatment, we will provide you with your “Prosthesis Identity", a document that contains all the important information about your new prosthesis like its type, the abutments used, their lot numbers etc. With this in hand, you can visit any dentist anywhere in the world and have your implant prosthesis taken care of.

This way you can have the surgical part of the treatment in your country, in the convenience of your home and leave the less stressful part of the implant restoration for your travel to Greece. 

Prosthodontics

International patients can choose from crowns, fixed partial dentures(bridges) or dentures made in our practice.

Crowns or a fixed partial denture usually require 4 appointments, unless the abutment teeth need restoration themselves before the prosthesis fabrication.

The first appointment is for teeth preparation and provisinal fabrication, the second is for impression taking, the third for try in and the last one for delivery. All procedures can be finished in one to two weeks time depending on the number of involved teeth.

Immediate dentures are the dentures delivered the same day of your teeth removal.

Immediate dentures are an excellent solution for people that do not want to be left any time without their teeth. 

We usually finish this type of prostheses in one week time, however we always wish to have some extra time in order to make sure that you can have all the appropriate after care needed.

Teeth whitening

Last but not least, international patients can have a quick and easy teeth whitening treatment in DentArtistry.

Teeth’s whitening  is the easiest esthetic procedure for a traveller. You can get advantage of the low cost and have your teeth whitened during your stay in Athens.

We offer in-office ZOOM teeth whitening or at-home whitening.

Both procedures can be finished in a two hour appointment in our clinic.
